Job Title: Radial Drill Operator
Job Description
As a Radial Drill Operator, you will be responsible for obtaining work assignments from your supervisor and determining your tasks based on schedule and priority. You will ensure the maintenance and proper functioning of drilling equipment, identify the type of set-up required, and perform various machining operations such as drilling, reaming, tapping, and more. Responsibilities
Obtain work assignment from supervisor based on schedule and priority.
Check oil and coolant levels and concentrations daily; inform supervisor if maintenance service or repair is needed.
Identify type of set-up required (e.g., pre-drill, finish drill) and determine work to be performed by reviewing customer-issued prints.
Ensure that correct material (e.g., type, size, quantity) and tools or fixtures are free from visible defects.
Layout, plan, and sequence work.
Select and verify machine accessories and holding devices are in good condition.
Attach machine accessories, tools, fixtures, and shop aids using wrenches, bolts, and clamps.
Essential Skills
Mechanical aptitude
Experience with hand and power tools
Proficiency in using precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometer, caliper, bore gauge, plug gauge, thread gauge)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Experience in manual machining and machine operation
Ability to set up and operate a radial drill

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
