Job Description :

College graduate with 5 years relevant experience. ·

Strong experience in all types of qualitative & quantitative research techniques, ideally including experience in managing shopper / retail environment research programs. ·

Experience of similar roles in the organizations that control marketing direction & decision-making locally (not just re applying global initiatives) is beneficial.

Experience of applying consumer/shopper understanding that has driven growth · This role requires traveling within South LAC (estimated 15%) and effective usage of virtual communication channels rather than face-to-face meetings with the rest of the organization.

Key responsabilities:

Develop shopper understanding, insights and implications that enable Customer Marketing to deliver shopper-based solutions tailored to meet channel and customer needs. ·

With Customer Marketing as the lead, identify the Category Growth Strategies and build insight-driven

Activation Platforms that are actionable and relevant to the business ·

Make use of all appropriate consumer, category development, shopper and customer understanding · Capable of challenging and influencing thinking across a broad range of stakeholders ·

Identify opportunities by channel and/or customer by synthesizing shopper and retail understanding from multiple sources. ·

Identify emerging shopper and retailer trends and their implications for customer and category activities. ·

Distil research results into channel/customer relevant findings and ensure they are translated into action. ·

Challenge Customer Marketing to ensure that the shopper is at the heart of all commercial thinking. ·

Lead/facilitate the shopper insight generation process with Customer Marketing using best practice processes and tools. ·

Ensure rigorous M&E is integrated as part of the learning plan. · Deliver the annual learning plan agreed with Customer Marketing. ·

Identify the Category Growth Strategies and build insight-driven Activation Platforms that are actionable and relevant to the business. ·

Lead/drive the shopper insight generation and opportunity identification process for the on and off-premise. ·

Ability to inspire in others the value of understanding the context, the issues, the opps and mobilising the business around doing something with them. ·

Be passionate about the shopper. Seed category, channel/customer and shopper understanding and inspire the wider Demand organization to begin integrating the shopper into their thinking (GAME Plans, activity briefs).
