UCLA Health Rehab Aide - Float - Inpatient and Outpatient in Santa Monica, California
Description
This position provides aide coverage for all rehab areas in Santa Monica (2 outpatient clinics and 1 hospital).
For outpatient: Responsibilities include clinic cleanliness, supply management, linen management, various administrative tasks, and physical assistance with patient care. Will also serve as a back-up to our front desk which includes phone answering and appointment scheduling.
For inpatient: Responsibilities include assisting physical and occupational therapists with direct patient care throughout the hospital.
Position may convert to career.
Salary range:
23.65-26.44 hourly

Basic Life Support certified by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
More than 6 months of relevant Rehab Aide experience qualifies for Rehab Aide 2 title.
Ability to safely perform repetitive bending, stooping, squatting, standing, sitting during an eight to ten-hour day.
Normal duties involve frequent lifting (up to 35 pounds), transferring patients, pushing a wheelchair up to 500 feet.
