Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Manages application of sales policies in field
Reviews field information and analyzes market trends to develop long range plans
Negotiates major project tenders within specified delegation of authority
Manages regional organization and policies for effective attainment of objectives
Establishes and manages annual sales and expense budgets
Develops additions or revisions to company sales policies
Selects and prices pumps for tenders
Reviews new product information from product development
Reviews product manual information prior to release
Supports, cooperates with, and participates in company-wide LEAN and EHS Management System which includes following all safety, health and environmental policies and procedures. Supports and cooperates in company-wide Quality Management effort.
Adheres to company and department policies, procedures, and standards
Performs other duties as necessary
Manages coworkers, including application specialists, sales representatives and administrative coworkers
Responsible for overall direction, coordination and evaluation of regional territory
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent education and experience required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Proven experience in the establishment of a team environment
Knowledge of pump and rotating equipment acquired through 5 or more years experience in the pump industry
The ability to define problems, collect applicable data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Good computers skills (word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software)
