Description We are seeking a detail-oriented File Clerk to join our healthcare team in Santa Cruz, California. This role is focused on managing and maintaining medical records, answering phone inquiries, and assisting with various administrative projects. This is a contract-based role that offers an opportunity to work onsite in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately organize and maintain patient charts and medical records

• Respond to phone inquiries and provide necessary assistance

• Work on miscellaneous projects as assigned

• Use basic computer skills to manage digital records and utilize Microsoft Office Suites for various tasks

• Ensure data entry tasks are completed accurately and efficiently

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for creating charts and graphs as needed

• Handle correspondence professionally and maintain confidentiality of patient information

• Provide excellent customer service to patients and colleagues

• Use About Time software for efficient time management and task scheduling

• Adhere to all healthcare regulations and standards. Requirements • Applicants must have a minimum of 0 years of experience in a similar role.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook is essential.

• Knowledge and experience in using ADP - Financial Services is a plus.

• Familiarity with the software, About Time, is preferred.

• Skills in creating Charts and Graphs and handling Correspondence are required.

• Applicants should exhibit strong Customer Service skills.

• Data Entry skills and a strong understanding of MS Office are essential.

• Prior experience in the Healthcare or NHS industry is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Applicants must have the ability to manage and organize files and records efficiently.

• Ability to work independently and also as a part of a team is necessary.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all tasks is mandatory.

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion is necessary.

• Applicants must have the ability to multitask and manage their time efficiently.
