Position Overview
We are hiring a Event Marketing Coordinator. The Event Marketing Coordinator will Manage the planning, logistics and execution of activities and resources dedicated to company events (tradeshows, user meetings, seminars, business meetings).

Job Description
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and execute planning and logistics for tradeshows and commercial events which include but is not limited to: booth registrations, ordering furnishings and services for booth, collating and shipping collateral and promotional items.
Gather tradeshow lists from the Marketing groups to compile and publish commercial events to the annual business integration calendar.
Ensure appropriate resources are available to meet event schedule requirements for equipment and timelines.
Develop strategies to maximize our tradeshow marketing program, reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
Manage event related campaigns in Salesforce.com to track and report costs.
Work closely with Sales and Marketing, R&D and Management during planning to meet deadlines and stay within budgets.
Responsible for ensuring MarCom/advertising deliverables booked as part of tradeshow exhibition packages are coordinated with teams and vendors to meet deadlines.
Manage tradeshow properties, graphics, and transportation.
Maintain booth and event equipment inventory – arranging repair as required.
Recommend the design of floor plans and exhibits.
Attends and manages booth set up for major Tier 1 tradeshows.
Supporting senior staff in assigned project‐based work.
Produce tradeshow memos for Tier 1 shows to guide attendees.
Provide oversight and advice for events planned by junior staff as needed.
Required Skills/Education:
4-5 years of experience running events independently
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong project management skills and attention to detail
Ability to negotiate and support internal (other departments) and external contacts
Ability to work effectively with tradeshow vendors, logistics and transportation companies, commercial trade representatives and exhibition manager
Knowledge of principles and practices of organization, planning, records management and general administration
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Working knowledge of Salesforce.com
Basic knowledge of the marketing mix, promotion and trade show logistics
Ability to speak read and write English effectively
Salary and Benefits:
For California, the base salary range for this position is $67,517.00 - $87,653.00 annually. Compensation for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience, location, etc.).
