BeiGene Sr. Analyst, North America Commercial & Med Affairs FP&A in San Mateo, California
General Description: The Senior Analyst, Commercial FP&A will support BeOne Medecines North America businesses, covering Commercial and Medical Affairs, as well as Global Commercial Strategy & Operations (GCSO). The role will be responsible for supporting all aspects of Financial Planning & Analysis for the business, including the annual operating plan and budget processes, long range planning, financial close, monthly reporting, and forecasting. This individual will collaborate with the broader Finance organization to ensure effective delivery on commitments for accounting, controls, and financial reporting.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of business operations, drivers, and strategies. This role will be a hands-on and valued partner that provides analytical and strategic support and works closely with the business and finance team to support high quality decision making while adhering to budget guidelines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Essential Functions of the job:
Support financial planning & analysis (Long Range Planning, Annual Operating Plan, Quarterly Forecasting), and management reporting for North America Commercial & Medical Affairs and GCSO
Serve as a strategic business partner to Commercial, Medical Affairs and GCSO teams and provide financial decision support as required
Support monthly and quarterly close process including accurate recording of accrued expenses
Support U.S. revenue forecast by assisting in preparation of reports and variance analysis and ensuring data accuracy
Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and financial insights that drive business decisions
Ability to work independently, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables with minimal supervision
Effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines, and proactively communicate progress to key stakeholders
Support ad hoc projects as needed
Computer Skills
Strong computer software skills (Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
Experience using financial systems, including enterprise ERP and budgeting tools (e.g., TM1, SAP, Hyperion, etc.)
Experience with dashboarding and data analytics tools preferred (not required)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required
3+ years of relevant finance/accounting experience
Background in Pharma / Biotech industry preferred
Location: Remote
Travel: Limited travel (<5%)
