Description
We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team in San Mateo, California. In the Healthcare industry, your role will be crucial in processing and analyzing financial data, preparing pro forma financial statements, and conducting scenario risk analysis. This role has a duration of 3 months and can be done remotely.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed analysis of financial data, identifying key performance indicators and trends to guide decision-making processes.
• Prepare proforma financial statements, including projected income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for a joint venture.
• Evaluate potential financial risks, propose mitigation strategies, and monitor risk exposure to ensure the financial stability of the joint venture.
• Develop, manage, and track budgets for the joint venture, aligning them with business goals and financial targets.
• Conduct in-depth cash flow analysis to ensure liquidity and predict future cash requirements, supporting the joint venture's financial health.
• Prepare and evaluate balance sheets for the joint venture, ensuring accurate reporting of assets, liabilities, and equity.
• Apply a deep understanding of the financial intricacies of the homecare industry, working closely with operational teams to align financial objectives with industry-specific needs.
• Demonstrate an inquisitive approach to understanding business operations, identifying opportunities for process improvements and driving operational efficiency through financial insights.
Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Financial Analyst role, preferably within the Healthcare or Non-Profit
• Proficiency in preparing Pro Forma Financial Statements, with a focus on accuracy and detail.
• Strong skills in conducting Scenario Analysis, with the ability to interpret and communicate results effectively.
• Experience in managing Year-end Close processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
• Exceptional analytical skills, with a strong ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial data to non-financial personnel.
• Proficient in the use of financial software and systems, with a strong knowledge of Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• High level of integrity, with the ability to handle sensitive financial information confidentially.
