Overview
To be responsible for vendor and contract management of existing and new deals, implementations and issue resolutions. Regular contact with the global team for succession planning.
Responsibilities
Manage RFP/RFI/RFQ processes using approved procurement toolkit documentation and processes.
Maintain a portfolio of contracts and assets, including setting up an asset database.
Vendor management of related suppliers, including portfolio clean-up and contract gap analysis.
Receive and/or handover new contracts upon signature for implementation and ongoing management.
Oversee true-up/true-down processes in alignment with existing contracts.
Review, renew, and retire assets as part of asset lifecycle management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Conduct market research and supplier assessments to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
Support procurement strategy implementation to optimize cost, quality, and delivery of goods and services.
Manage procurement processes for goods and services, ensuring vendor selection, price negotiation, and contract management achieve the best value for the organization.
Assist in developing procurement strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
Liaise with the Vendor Management team to ensure continuity of supply/service and mitigate risks in strategic contracts, ensuring delivery aligns with contract objectives and schedules.
Qualifications
Advanced English (oral and written skills).
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Sound financial analytical skills and a good understanding of contract law.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions.
Awareness of regulation and legislation on the markets involved.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work effectively in a team/hybrid environment.
A proven team player with impeccable attention to detail and the ability to priorities deliverables aligned with organizational strategy.
Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
