As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol in San Francisco, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .
As a Patrol Officer in a government setting, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you engage with the public, providing excellent customer service and communication. This position requires an armed designation, including the use of a sidearm and baton, with regular firearms qualification and requalification training. Responsibilities:
Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and engage in emergency response activities when necessary.
Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions at the location.
Assist in maintaining a secure environment by being observant and reporting any unusual activities or security-related incidents.
Collaborate with team members and other personnel to address security-related concerns and enhance the overall security posture of the location.
Minimum Requirements:
Must have an Armed Handcuff certification.
Must have an Armed Pepper certification.
Must complete Armed-Quarterly Firearms Qualification. This can be completed post hire.
Must acknowledge Firearms Acknowledgement.
Must complete Firearms Annual Requalification Training. This can be completed post hire.
Must have an Armed Sidearm certification.
Must have an Armed Baton certification.
Must have an Armed Designation.
Must have 1+ years of law enforcement experience OR 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience OR 3+ years of security experience.
Must have a California Armed Security Professional License.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
