Description
Robert Half's tech industry client is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to assist in the processing of payroll for their organization. This client is a leading tech company with multiple locations, hence the candidate will need to manage multi-state payroll systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll systems, an eye for detail, outstanding organizational skills, and a passion for ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and process multi-state payroll using payroll systems.
Maintain and update employee payroll records.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
Coordinate with the HR team to ensure correct employee data.
Handle payroll discrepancies through detailed research and resolution.
Help in preparing reports for the finance department.
Assist with annual audit processes.
Requirements
• Must have experience handling Multi-state Payroll
• Experience with Workday Payroll
• Experience processing payroll for a tech, fintech, or SaaS company
