Robert Half Finance Transformation Manager in San Francisco, California

Description We are offering a contract role for a Finance Manager to join our team in San Francisco, California. This role is centered around supporting the Marketing Finance function and requires a blend of business partnering functions, as well as improving our processes through Google Sheet automation. The role will interface primarily with the Marketing Strategy & Operations team and direct marketing managers who are executing campaigns.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with the marketing strategy and operations team to ensure campaign timing and pacing is up to date

• Work with direct marketing managers to support the execution of campaigns

• Leverage Google Sheet automation skills to streamline finance processes

• Analyze and interpret financial data to inform marketing strategies

• Use SQL and Microsoft Excel to manage and manipulate large data sets

• Apply knowledge of finance and economics to transform marketing finance operations

• Support the onboarding and training of new team members in finance function

• Drive the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing campaigns

• Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies

• Use problem-solving skills to scale out operations and streamline processes. Requirements

• Must have a strong understanding of finance management principles and practices

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SQL for data analysis and reporting

• Previous experience in a finance manager role or similar

• Ability to design and implement marketing strategies and direct marketing campaigns

• Knowledge of operations and ability to streamline processes for efficiency

• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills

• Experience with workstation support and benefit functions

• Ability to manage onboarding and staffing processes

• Comfortable with automation tools and techniques

• Familiarity with campaign planning and marketing strategy development

• Understanding of scale out strategies and entrepreneurial mindset

• Experience with accounting functions and economics

• Understanding of finance transformation initiatives

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, or a related field

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
