Description
We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Client Services Representative in San Francisco, California. As a Client Services Representative, you will be representing the bank in a courteous and professional manner, providing prompt, efficient, and accurate service in processing requests and transactions. This role will involve answering phones and emails, handling client inquiries, and directing them to appropriate personnel. You will also be tasked with opening a variety of business and consumer accounts and actively cross-selling a broad range of services to both new and existing clients.
Responsibilities:
• Represent the bank in a courteous and professional manner
• Provide prompt, efficient, and accurate service in processing requests and transactions
• Answer telephones and emails and handle client inquiries
• Direct clients to appropriate bank personnel according to their needs
• Open a variety of business and consumer accounts
• Actively cross-sell a broad range of services to both new and existing clients
• Review and distribute a variety of reports related to banking transactions
• Distribute monthly statements to clients
• Verify and prepare incoming and outgoing cash shipments
• Resolve a variety of client inquiries, maintaining contact with client through telephone or written communication as required
• Process documents pertaining to incoming and outgoing wires
• Monitor and resolve activities and inquiries in the bank's general email inbox
• Assist with inquiries regarding online, mobile, and remote deposit services
• Perform basic troubleshooting with online banking such as password resets and lockouts
• Perform essential office functions such as organizing and filing.
Requirements
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Banking role or similar position
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
• Strong skills in client relations and communication
• BS Degree in Business Administration a plus
