General Summary:

We are seeking a Director of Product Management – CPU for Servers to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of CPU cores for our Data Center product portfolio. This role will drive the productization of high-performance server processors, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, data center trends, and evolving compute workloads. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in CPUs, experience in the data center ecosystem, and a strong capacity to work cross functionally to define and message CPU technology.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Roadmap

Define and execute the data center CPU core roadmap, ensuring alignment with chipset requirements and overall CPU core strategy.

Assess market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to define differentiated CPU cores.

Prioritize product features and investments to optimize performance, efficiency, and cost for server workloads.

Assess and drive long term strategies including M&A, Partnerships, and major technology shifts

Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution

Collaborate with chipset product management, benchmark product management, engineering, architecture, marketing, and sales teams to drive the development and go-to-market execution of server CPUs.

Align CPU product specifications with software ecosystems, hyperscaler needs, and industry benchmarks.

Drive cross-functional execution, balancing technical feasibility, business impact, and go-to-market strategy.

Customer & Market Engagement

Engage with hyperscalers (AWS, Google, Meta, Microsoft, etc.), cloud providers, OEMs, and ISVs to refine CPU product requirements.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with ecosystem partners, industry consortiums, and chipset vendors.

Represent the company at industry events, technical conferences, and customer briefings to advocate for our CPU solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in product management, CPU core design, or server hardware development.

Strong understanding of server CPU architectures, instruction sets (x86, Arm, RISC-V), memory subsystems, and power-performance tradeoffs. Deep understanding of fundamental CPU technology such as pipelines, caches and power / frequency / area tradeoffs.

Proven ability to define roadmaps, lead cross-functional teams and create compelling messaging to match technology to market needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field.

• 8+ years of Product Management or related work experience.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits :

$196,000.00 - $294,000.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
