Robert Half Accounts Receivable Clerk in San Bernardino, California
Description We are looking to add an Accounts Receivable Clerk to our team in the Agriculture industry, based in San Bernardino, California. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, your main role will be managing customer accounts, processing applications, and maintaining accurate records. You will also be tasked with resolving any customer inquiries and monitoring their accounts for necessary action. This opportunity offers a short term contract employment.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently handling the processing of customer credit applications.
• Keeping customer credit records up-to-date and accurate.
• Proactively taking appropriate actions on customer accounts when necessary.
• Resolving any inquiries or concerns from customers in a timely manner.
• Working closely with sales and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Matching of Bill of Lading, Driver log, and Purchase Order before sending invoice to customer.
• Preparing customer statements regularly.
• Generating chargeback and credit memos when necessary.
• Utilizing different software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various tasks.
• Performing account reconciliations and cash collections as part of the role. Requirements • Proven experience in Account Reconciliation, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are promptly addressed.
• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR), with a demonstrated ability to manage invoices, track payments, and maintain accurate records.
• Demonstrable experience in Billing, including preparing invoices and handling customer queries related to billing.
• Experience in Cash Applications, particularly in applying cash receipts to customer accounts and resolving discrepancies.
• Proficiency in Cash Collections, with a focus on ensuring timely payment of invoices and minimizing bad debts.
• Experience in Commercial Collections, with a demonstrated ability to recover outstanding payments from commercial clients.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets for financial analysis and reporting.
• Experience using Oracle for financial management, including accounts receivable functions.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks, particularly in managing invoicing, cash applications, and account reconciliation tasks.
• Experience using SAP for financial management and reporting, with a focus on accounts receivable processes.
