Job Title: Painter
Job Description
As a Painter, you will be responsible for reviewing incoming jobs, overseeing the prep process, and ensuring that parts are masked correctly according to the drawings. You will maintain the proper chemical concentration in the wash system, adjust settings on the powder coat booth, and verify that finished parts meet specifications. Additionally, you will perform routine quality checks, maintain shop cleanliness, track production efficiency, and comply with all company policies and guidelines.
Essential Skills
Experience in painting, paint prep, spray gun, masking, powder coat, and coating.
Ability to perform the powder coating process in a paint booth to paint parts coming by on an overhead conveyor.
Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine proper masking and hanging of parts.
Skilled in troubleshooting and adjusting to ensure quality powder coating.
Knowledgeable in the proper wash and cure steps of the powder coat process.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
