TEKsystems Licensed Vocational Nurse - Family Practice in San Antonio, Texas
Description
-Responsible for managing the daily operations in primary care
-Responsible for providing operational guidance and provides leadership, direction, and support to the clinical staff on patient related issues.
-Assists fellow employees in providing personalized patient care and maintains a positive working relationship with the health care team.
-Provides leadership, directions and support to medical assistants and LVN's on the issues of outpatient care, medications, or scheduling
-Studies trends and monitors clinic reporting on metrics such as schedule utilization, access, no show rates, and customer service concerns and suggests solutions in collaboration with the clinic leadership team.
-Monitors clinic RMH and HEDIS scores by utilizing weekly reports to ensure pods are trending towards meeting organizational goals, develops plans to improve scores
-Facilitate key meetings
Skills & Qualifications
-Minimum 2-5 years of professional family practice nursing experience
Two years of supervisory experience preferred
-CPR certification with AED is required and must be kept current
-Must be a graduate of an accredited LVN program and possess an active and unencumbered TX PN license is required
-Skilled in use of computer/EMR systems. Knowledge of Word processing software, spreadsheet software, Internet, and database software.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
