Job Title: Fabricator
Job Description
The Fabricator will be responsible for fabricating sheet metal for the production of lighting. This opportunity involves the use of a laser, punch press machine, and performing machine setups. The Fabricator will examine specifications of orders using blueprints, drawings, and/or work orders, and fabricate work pieces as determined by these specifications. The role also includes examining the work piece visually, by touch, or using tape measures, calipers, or gauges to ensure the product meets desired standards.
Responsibilities
Fabricate sheet metal for the production of lighting.
Operate laser and punch press machines.
Perform machine setups.
Examine order specifications using blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
Fabricate work pieces as determined by work order specifications.
Inspect work pieces visually, by touch, or using tape measures, calipers, or gauges to ensure they meet desired standards.
Essential Skills
Fabrication experience on sheet metal.
Ability to read blueprints.
Experience using calipers and tape measures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with press brake, hand tools, and fitting.

We offer a 50 cent increase in pay upon conversion, annual performance reviews at the end of each year, merit increases, and production bonuses based on production.
Work Environment
Indoor machine shop, climate controlled with two shifts available: 1st shift (6am-2:30pm) and 2nd shift (2:30pm-11pm).
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.
