Rush Enterprises Customer Service Representative - Rush Truck Insurance in San Antonio, Texas

The Customer Service Representative – Finance and Accounting is responsible for directly assisting Sales Representatives, Sales Assistants and Customers/policy holders with new and/or renewal premium finance loans.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for handling day to day needs, including preparing quotes for insurance premium loans and endorsements as requested by Agency personnel

  • Set up loans within 48 hours of receiving request for funding from the Agency

  • Send loan documents to clients via DocuSign and follow up for signed docs via telephone and/or email

  • Process payments and endorsements to the loans

  • Process funding checks to Agency and refunds to clients

  • Process client payments; these may be received via telephone, wire, ach, fax/email, live check or cash

  • Process incoming and outgoing mail for the Finance department

  • Respond to inquiries verbally and through email or written correspondence

  • Responsible for collection of past due balances

  • Maintain accurate records as required in a manner that makes such records accessible to anyone in the department upon need and in accordance with standard business practice and any local, state and federal applicable statutes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree

  • A minimum of 1.5 to 2 years of related work experience in a similar position. May substitute the equivalent combination of education and training.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is helpful

  • Spanish speaking is helpful but not required
