Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused
Salespersonto join our team at Advance Auto Parts. In this role, you will assist our customers with automotive parts and products, providing them with the expert advice and guidance they need. Whether you're supporting the DIY (Do It Yourself) business or helping customers find solutions for their vehicle needs, youll play an essential part in delivering great service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting with product selection and offering expert advice
- Support customers in the DIY (Do It Yourself) business, ensuring they have the right parts for their projects
- Use store systems to check inventory and source parts from stores, hubs, or external suppliers
- Maintain a strong knowledge of store products, automotive systems, and common vehicle parts
- Assist with in-store inventory management and stocking
- Keep the store organized and present a clean, safe environment for customers and staff
- Meet or exceed sales and service goals
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and parts
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer and store system proficiency
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods
- Previous retail or sales experience preferred but not required
- Ability to drive preferred (for delivery-related tasks)
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
