Job Title: Production Specialist-1
Job Description
We are seeking a Production Specialist-1 to manufacture data servers for a well-known large distribution company. This is a stable, long-term business opportunity in a clean and mostly temperature-controlled facility. Please note that this is a metal-free environment and employees will need to go through metal detectors and wear composite shoes starting from Day 1. The role requires flexibility to move between various positions including warehouse, assembly, and testing. The available shifts are 1st or 2nd.
Responsibilities
Production Specialist-Materials: Receive products, unpack them, and place them into the corrugator to break down boxes. Label products and place them in proper bins. Utilize scanners and computers, specifically Excel. Be comfortable moving into different roles throughout the facility and cross-training as needed.
Production Specialist-Mechanical Assembly: Work at nine specific stations down an assembly line, using an electric screwdriver. Each station should take approximately 90 seconds to complete. Follow pictures and work instructions for assembly. Rotate stations and learn different parts of the process to qualify for pay increases.
Production Specialist-Rack Assembly: Assemble racks using an electrical screwdriver where servers will be placed. Use a tool to lift and place 40lb servers. Label and place cables into the server following work instructions. Be comfortable with tools and working in a loud environment.

There is potential for conversion to a full-time employee within the first year for those with excellent attendance.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salt Lake City, Utah.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
