Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Lab Coordinator to provide administrative and operational support within a laboratory setting. This role will involve administrative tasks, light lab duties, and sample testing. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, familiarity with MS Office, and a willingness to learn laboratory procedures. SAP experience is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support, including word processing, filing, scheduling, financial record-keeping, and procurement of supplies.

  • Answer phone calls, direct visitors, and coordinate meetings and conferences.

  • Assist with lab operations, including sample tracking, labeling, and routing.

  • Perform routine laboratory functions such as maintaining equipment, preparing lab materials, and supporting experiments as needed.

  • Accurately conduct specified lab tests, document findings, and compile data for reports.

  • Assist in quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) duties.

  • Prepare solutions and mixtures as required.

  • Calibrate, maintain, and perform minor repairs on lab equipment per manufacturer guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of administrative experience (experience in a lab setting is a plus).

  • Familiarity with standard laboratory techniques, safety procedures, and scientific terminology.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

  • SAP experience preferred but not required.

  • Ability to follow specific laboratory protocols and procedures.
