Job Title: Fabricator

Pay: $23/hr
Hours: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM, Monday – Friday
Job Description:
Adecco is currently helping a local client in Salt Lake City, UT seeking a dedicated Fabricator. Responsible for manufacturing customized granite, marble, Corian, and engineered stone countertops and related products to meet customer specifications. This is a hands-on position that involves fabricating high-quality countertops in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
Primary Tasks & Responsibilities:
Examine customer order specifications using drawings, work orders, or blueprints to determine product characteristics, materials to be used, and machine setup requirements.
Fabricate workpieces as per work order specifications.
Retrieve the correct materials and perform various fabrication duties as required.
Inspect finished workpieces visually, by touch, or with tape measures, calipers, or gauges to ensure product quality and accuracy.
Operate and maintain machinery to required standards, set points, programming, and adjustments for various product types. Perform necessary preventative maintenance.
Maintain a clean and organized work area (e.g., free of trash, product stored correctly, etc.).
Follow company safety policies and procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Select correct processes based on prescribed rules, past practices, or instructions.
Seek guidance from the supervisor on non-routine or challenging tasks.
Work closely with senior co-workers and/or supervisors for quality and procedural checks.
Work Environment:
The position requires occasional physical exertion, such as walking, standing, lifting, and maneuvering materials or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.
Work is typically in a comfortable environment, though exposure to temperature extremes, moving machinery, noise, dust, wet areas, and fumes common in a countertop manufacturing setting is expected.
Education & Experience:
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must pass a drug test and background check.
Must pass any applicable pre-employment tests.
High school diploma or GED required.
0-2 years of experience in the field or similar roles.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with countertop fabrication shop equipment or machinery (e.g., Waterjet Saw, Edge Polishers, CNCs, hand tools, routers/polishers).
Experience in countertop fabrication.
A passion for working with your hands and creating beautiful products in a team environment.
Experience with granite and solid surface materials (Corian or similar) is a plus.
Pay Details: $23.00 per hour
