Job Description
Manufactures data servers for a well-known large distribution company. This is a stable long-term business. The facility is clean, mostly temperature controlled, and a metal-free environment. No metal is allowed on the production floor, and employees will need to go through metal detectors. Composite shoes are required from Day 1. The Production Specialist-1 role involves various positions throughout the facility, including warehouse, assembly, and testing. Shifts available: 1st or 2nd shift.
Responsibilities
Receive products, remove them from boxes and plastic wrapping, and break down boxes.
Label products and place them in proper bins for the 'supermarket'.
Utilize scanners and computers, specifically Excel, with training provided.
Work in 9 specific stations down an assembly line, using an electric screwdriver.
Rotate stations and learn different parts of the assembly process to qualify for pay bumps.
Assemble racks using an electrical screwdriver for server placement.
Label and place cables into the server according to work instructions.
Capable of standing for 12 hours and able to lift 40lbs unassisted.

Day Shift-$18/hr
Night shift-$20.70/hr
2 day on 2 day off
12 hour shifts

Work Environment
The facility is clean, mostly temperature controlled, and a metal-free environment. Employees must wear composite shoes and will work in a variety of roles, including warehouse, assembly, and testing. It can get loud during rack assembly, and the receiving area may have varying temperatures if dock doors are open or closed.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
