Aerotek Mix/Coat Manufacturing Operator in Saint Paul, Minnesota

Position: Mix/Coat Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Operator

  • Job Summary:

  • This role involves assisting with the setup, dismantling, and day-to-day operation of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes using large-scale equipment. The responsibilities include adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and LTS standard operating procedures, along with accurate documentation using Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).

  • Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Learn and apply technical skills for operating equipment, including mixing, coating, and packaging processes.

  • Support the manufacturing line Lead by monitoring processes, making necessary adjustments, and documenting activities.

  • Communicate any issues or solutions professionally, especially during shift changeovers.

  • Document all manufacturing records in compliance with ALCOA and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

  • Adhere to the company's cGMP requirements, including staying current with training, following gowning, safety, and controlled substance policies and procedures.

  • Read, comprehend, and accurately complete manufacturing documents such as Manufacturing Batch Records (MBRs), Set up diagrams (SUDs), Visual Standards, Control Charts, Summary Sheets, Reconciliation Forms, Logbooks, etc.

Shifts:

  • 1st shift: 6AM – 2:30PM (M-F)

  • x1 opening.

Pay Range: $24-$35/per hour ( depends on experience )

Qualifications:

  • Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 1-3+ years of experience working in a cGMP Production Environment.

  • Strong ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English language.

  • Strong ability to interpret Manufacturing documents such as Manufacturing Batch Record (MBR's), Set up Diagrams (SUDs), Visual Standards, Control Charts, Summary Sheets, Logbooks, etc.

  • Must be able to wear Tychem style protective suits and full face respirators when required.

  • Technical aptitude related to mixing, coating, slitting, rotary converting, and packaging.

  • Preferred:

  • Direct Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Experience

  • Technical, Associates, or Bachelors Degree

Work Environment

  • You will be working in a clean room environment, handling commercial scale equipment and various chemicals.

  • Holiday Pay:

  • 1-5 years = 80 hours

  • 6-11 years = 120 hours

  • 12-25 years = 160 hours

  • 25+ = 200 hours

  • The company will provide educational assistance in the form of reimbursement to eligible employees up to a maximum of $5,250 per calendar year, for coursework at a degree or certificate granting institution at either high school, vocational, college or graduate level.
