Wells Fargo Senior Business Growth Strategy Consultant - Investment Products in SAINT LOUIS, Missouri

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senor Business Strategy Consultant in Investment Tools and Implementation as part of Wealth & Investment Management (WIM). The team serves as the first point of contact for the Investment Solutions Center of Excellence where we answer questions related to investment guidance (Wells Fargo Investment Institute) and implementation (via Advisory Programs, Packaged Products, and Individual Securities). In addition, the team supports firm advisory/investment initiatives and provides training on tools and resources Financial Advisors utilize in making portfolio recommendations to their clients.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead or meaningfully contribute to projects aimed at streamlining operational processes to improve team capacity in servicing Financial Advisor inquires, collaborate with business partners and professional development.

  • Field inbound phone and email inquiries from Financial Advisors and other client facing employees in a timely manner. Answer questions related to the Wells Fargo Investment Institute's Strategy and Research, explain features and benefits of the firm's Advisory Programs and Packaged Products, and provide guidance to identify the most appropriate investment vehicle based upon the client's objectives and risk tolerance.

  • Guide and train field facing Home Office employees through the firm's applications and provide assistance with utilizing marketing publications, proposal and analytical tools with clients.

  • Work closely with the Wells Fargo Investment Institute, product teams, relationship managers, marketing and communications to stay informed and knowledgeable about all products and initiatives to better serve Financial Advisors and their clients.

  • Actively support team applications, including planning and executing updates and maintenance of platforms to ensure functioning as expected.

  • Ensure adherence to compliance regulations and policies within Business Growth Strategy functional area

  • Develop strategies to enhance sales in a designated market and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in Business Growth Strategy operations, policies, procedures and compliance requirements

  • Serve as a mentor for less experienced individuals

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Business Growth Strategy experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and understanding of investment and advisory products and services

  • Advanced project management skills including experience managing policy & operating procedures, controls management and scheduling tasks for the team

  • Customer service focus with the ability to listen to customer needs and recommend solutions

  • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment

  • Educating customer-facing team members on strategy, processes, and system tools

  • Experience working with Morningstar and Portfolio Proposal Tool on SmartStation

  • Proven experience using tools for investment and/or product research & analysis

  • Experience providing direction and mentorship to junior members of the team.

  • Advanced MS Excel skills with ability to create pivot tables and V-lookups

  • Advanced MS Teams skills with experience in hosting meetings and storing documentation

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation or demonstrated progress toward the designation

  • A Masters of Business Administration (MBA) or demonstrated progress toward degree
