The Position:We are looking for a candidate who will be performing the role of an Electronics Engineer - Journeyman, supporting the NAWC WOLF, Naval Air Warfare Center Webster Outlying Field, team.

The Location:St. Inigoes, MD

The Work Environment:On-Site

The Description:

  • Performs tasks under the guidance and supervision of senior engineers and managers.
  • Has demonstrated knowledge in area of engineering expertise.
  • Applies and integrates engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems.
  • Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.
  • Applies engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, Quality Assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management.
  • Analyzes designs, develops, implements, tests, or evaluates software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military C5ISR systems and associated support systems or management information systems.
  • Leads the execution of complex tasks.

Education and Experience:

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance, required.
  • Bachelor's Degreein an engineering discipline.
    • Substitution with other degrees and work experience is not allowable.
  • Required Experience:Of the minimum three years of experience, at least two of those years must be in engineering of CID (Combat Identification) systems.

Travel:

  • The employee may be required to drive to offices or buildings near the work site. Travel may be required.
