Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking general production worker to join our team. This role involves assembling wooden crates, pallets, and boxes for shipping purposes. The successful candidate will cut, nail, or staple wood pieces according to customer specifications and handle various tasks related to packaging and storing parts.
Responsibilities
Assemble wooden crates, pallets, and boxes for shipping purposes.
Cut, nail, or staple wood pieces to customer specifications.
Remove parts from boxes from Honda and GE to reload and store according to customer specifications.
Wrap pallets upon entry.
Lift up to 50 pounds.
Essential Skills
Experience in packaging, general labor, and picking/packing.
Skills in crate building and banding/unbanding.
Proficiency with hand tools.
Ability to use a tape measure.
Capability to handle heavy lifting and unloading.
Work Environment
You will be working in a brand new warehouse, primarily indoors. However, the bay doors for shipping can cause it to get hotter in the warehouse at times. Steel-toed boots are required, but gloves, glasses, and safety vests will be provided. The working hours are from 6:30am to 2pm, Monday to Friday, with some potential for overtime.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
