Actalent Scientific is hiring for Quality Assurance Technician in Fort Worth / Saginaw, TX!
Job Description:
A leading manufacturer of Condiments in Fort Worth, TX, who manufacturers various condiments that include, oil, butter, hot sauce, mayonnaise and other specialty sauces.
This person will be performing a variety of laboratory tests and other laboratory work to help provide top quality and safe products that meet customer requirements and specifications.
Other duties include:
Auditing, verification, and follow up on process controls such as weight checks, batch sheets, FSMA plant inspections, receiving, etc.
Responsible for following all Food Safety policies, procedures and regulatory criterion including the current SQF code, GMP, and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA)
Learn operate, calibrate and maintain lab equipment
Schedule: 3rd Shift 9PM-5:30AM M-F, rotating weekends
Pay / Benefits:
Great pay! Up to $23/hour
Overtime shifts & pay offered - 1.5x hourly rate

Education/Experience:
Science Degree or related work experience
1+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
Previous Laboratory experience can take the place of a degree
