About the Role:
- Positions: Lead Teacher Pre-K Orange Room & Blue Room
- Location: Rutland, Vermont
- Pay: \$16.50 - \$20.25 per hour
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum.
- Advise and supervise assistant teachers, substitutes, and volunteers.
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and organized classroom environment.
- Ensure compliance with Vermont Licensing Regulations and teacher/child ratios.
- Maintain open communication with families, co-workers, and the community, and provide monthly reports and updates.
Qualifications:
- Understanding of child development.
- Level III on VT Early Childhood Career Ladder or relevant degree/certifications.
- Ability to lift 30 pounds and change positions freely.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
