Description

We are on the lookout for a meticulous and efficient Administrative Assistant to join our client's team in Roslyn, NY. This role revolves around performing a variety of typing and data entry tasks, with an emphasis on accuracy and speed. Your duties will include managing electronic and physical filing systems, ensuring the accuracy of documents, and providing administrative support to other departments.

Responsibilities:

• Typing correspondence, reports, memos, and other documents from handwritten, typed, or electronic sources

• Entering data into computer systems and databases with precision and swiftness

• Formatting documents adhering to established guidelines, including font styles, margins, and spacing

• Proofreading typed documents for errors and inconsistencies

• Maintaining and organizing electronic and physical filing systems for documents and records

• Indexing files for easy retrieval and reference

• Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors regarding typing and data entry assignments

• Responding to inquiries and requests for information in a timely manner

• Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of typed documents and data entry tasks

• Reviewing and verifying data for errors or discrepancies

• Providing administrative support to other departments when needed, including tasks like copying, scanning, and filing documents.

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word

• Experience in answering inbound calls and managing inbound and outbound calls

• Strong customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff and customers

• Ability to schedule appointments and manage multiple calendars

• Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Experience in email correspondence and ability to communicate effectively in written form

• Ability to manage administrative tasks and provide support to the team

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
