Lead a department of 10-15 in daily communication meetings and issuing each team member their daily work load. Train, motivate and lead the department to meet all daily production and safety goals, while taking direction from shift supervisor. - 2nd Shift Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 11:30pm plus overtime as scheduled

$22.75/hr.+ $2.00 shift Premium

Responsibilities
Monitor and enforce Safety and Company policies
Train and assist, order pickers, checkers and loaders as required
Assist in development of department performance and productivity standards
Hands on as needed based on workload and manpower
Maintain and update start, hourly and end of shift reports
Attend all department and company meetings as required
Assist shipping supervisor in directing workflow
Provide input for employee evaluations
Complete and/or coordinate department projects as assigned
Maintain good housekeeping
Other duties as assigned
Strong written and verbal skill
Ability to communicate in English
Judgement and decision making
Adept knowledge of RF Scanners/Systems
Use of computers and associated software programs including Microsoft Office
Ability to be certified to operate a Forklift (Order Picker, Sit-down or Walkie-Rider)
Ability to understand the basic throughput of a Logistics Operation
Ability to lead 10 or more people in a warehouse setting
Shipping and/or Receiving experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience in Warehousing
