Belcan is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineering Tech to join our aerospace team, focusing on maintaining and enhancing quality standards in manufacturing processes and products.
Responsibilities:
Act as a trusted representative to communicate quality alerts, complete gage verification, and support operations and investigations.
Resolve non-conformance issues and product holds with process and quality engineers, providing document control and audit support.
Collaborate with process engineers to improve manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and increase reliability.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conformances, participating in Continuous Improvement activities.
Provide technical support, resolve Solumina and SAP issues, and assist in developing manufacturing cells and tooling requirements.
Ideal Candidate:
Holds an Associate or Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and/or has equivalent experience in manufacturing & quality engineering.
Experienced in Manufacturing Process Reviews and quality tools (Internship experience considered)
Strong skills in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Knowledgeable about ISO and AS9100 standards, manufacturing processes, blueprints, and specifications.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
Experience with SAP and TEAMCENTER
U.S. citizenship required due to the nature of the work.
Desired but not required skills:
AS9100 REV-D Internal Audit certification.
Familiarity with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), PFMEA, and PPAP
Experience with Solumina, and/or DIOS.
