Performing routine maintenance, calibration, and recording of test equipment
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
Accurately document test results, including numerical data and observations, and compile written test reports.
Provide feedback on design, rated specifications, and test objectives based on observed results.
Operate test equipment such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, signal generators, power supplies, and multimeters.
Diagnose and resolve basic electro-mechanical nonconformances.
Identify root causes of production failures, report findings, and track recurring trends.
Address and troubleshoot production equipment breakdowns, monitoring downtime and causes.
Conduct engineering tests and process validations according to written protocols.
Create and update work instructions for manufacturing processes.
Prepare detailed reports on project outcomes as needed.
Assist production in identifying and improving process-related issues affecting quality, cost, and on-time delivery.
Support the engineering team with daily tasks and project-based activities.
Provide training and troubleshooting support to resolve production issues.
Perform tests and experiments, organize data, and generate reports and summaries.
Collaborates with various functional groups (Engineering, Test, Quality, Management, etc.) at both strategic and operational levels to investigate process issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED
Eligibility Requirements:
Must be able to visually observe details at close range.
This position requires the ability to use repetitive motion, with a high-level of dexterity.
Must be able to operate hand tools and computers.
Must be able to stand, sit and walk for prolonged periods of time
Must be able to move about inside the manufacturing area to access equipment, files, etc.
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
Will be required to wear protective gear, such as safety glasses, safety shoes and ESD smock.
Desired Characteristics:
Associate’s degree or Trade School in Electronic Technology or Equivalent work experience acceptable
Prior experience in manufacturing (electrical a plus!)
Must have the ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams & engineering drawings
Knowledge and experience with Radio Frequency (RF)
Demonstrates flexibility in performing assigned tasks to support team and company objectives.
Proficient in utilizing appropriate tools and computer applications, including MS Office.
Applies strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking to troubleshoot issues effectively.
Assists in multiple aspects of project execution.
Identifies and assigns root causes to non-conforming assemblies.
Knowledge of GE processes
The pay for this position is $18-$24/hr. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This role is eligible for overtime. This posting is expected to close on 3/24/25.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
