Oakland University DREAM Initiative Program Coordinator in Rochester, Michigan
The Coordinator will support the current 25-30
DREAM Initiative students and assist the Senior Director of Housing and the Vice President for Enrollment Management on all matters related to recruiting, enrolling, and retaining undergraduate students participating in the
DREAM Initiative program. Additionally, the coordinator will assist with a second group of 25 new first-generation students living in the residence halls during their first year of college. This includes collaborating with other units at Oakland University to increase first-year enrollment and persistence of the second cohort of students.
A strong personal commitment to ensuring that both groups of first-generation students receive the support they need to succeed in college and pursue a path toward a bachelor's degree with a "do whatever it takes" attitude and data-informed decisions. This role requires a person who wants to make an important difference in the world.
