Position Description: RN
The Wound Care RN responsibilities include:
Independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
Responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
Also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

Requirements:
Certifications and Licensures:
BLS (Basic Life Support)
RN (Registered Nurse)
ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department
Preferred Nurse Specialty
Education:
Associate's Nursing or Diploma Nursing
Preferred Bachelor's Nursing
Experience:
Required 1 year nursing experience
Preferred Experience includes 1 year acute care or Interventional/Perioperative experience.
High level of Wound Care Experience desired
