East Bay Community Action Program Chief Operating Officer (COO) in Riverside, Rhode Island

East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is seeking a full-time Chief Operating Officer (COO) for our agency.

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for leading and managing a comprehensive array of services and programs at EBCAP. This position will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and will be the designated representative of the organization in the absence of the Chief Executive Officer.

Responsibilities:

  • The Chief Operating Officer will lead six senior leaders across our sites with a staff of over 500. The COO will develop new programs as needs emerge and oversee/support the following:Licensure, accreditations, human rights compliance, personnel decisions and financial goals.
  • Maintain EBCAPs services in compliance with all federal, state, funding, and city regulations, certifications, and licensing.
  • Assist the CEO and Director of Development in planning, organizing and implementing public and private fundraising initiatives and campaigns

Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree preferred or Bachelor's degree required. Degrees in Social Work, Nonprofit Administration, or Public Administration are preferred.
  • Fifteen (15) years' experience of successful executive experience in an organization of comparable size and complexity.
  • Ability to interact effectively, appropriately, and professionally with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Build and sustain relationships with many constituencies, both internal and external, including government agencies and funding sources, and the media.
  • Lead and strategically create, plan, share, and implement the organizations vision.
