LifePoint Health Endoscopy Tech in Richlands, Virginia
Under the general supervision of the Surgical Services Department Manager, and with the authority from the Chief Nursing Officer, the Endoscopy Tech assists the Surgical Services staff by performing routine duties in caring for patients. Helps keep the patients clean and comfortable as possible, responds promptly to patient’s requests for assistance, and maintains a safe environment. The Endoscopy Tech must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide basic patient care in a safe, ethical manner. Proficiently functions assisting with procedures and processing endoscopes. Assists Operating Room/Endoscopy with efficient room turnover between cases.
Education:High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
License/Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
