CTG's premier client has a contract assignment for a Vendor Coordinator, Business Operations.

Type: Contract

Job Title: Vendor Coordinator, Business Operations

Location: Position can be remote, but candidate must be able to support working east coast hours

Pay Rate: $30.00/hour

Work Hours: M-F, 7AM-4PM

Education: Associates or bachelor’s degree in BA or BS

Description

This role oversees vendor coordination for Engineering, Furnishing, and Installation (EF&I) programs within CoC-Engineering Services. The role works cross-functionally with internal program stakeholders to understand overall schedules and milestones. The position is responsible for coordinating vendor(s) schedules, providing feedback to internal program stakeholders, and ensuring work coverage for program milestones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the program scheduler to understand the master schedule for the program.

  • Identify resource gaps and address them with vendors and internal stakeholders.

  • Outline schedules for supporting vendors and provide feedback on required schedule adjustments to internal stakeholders.

  • Define reporting requirements for vendors and validate timely updates.

  • Support daily construction plan meetings.

  • Conduct weekly schedule discussions with contractors to ensure production matches committed dates and to assess resource needs for anticipated volume.

  • Collaborate with Project Management and Engineering teams to ensure vendors have required documentation to support scheduled jobs (prints, permits, purchase orders, etc.).

  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with active vendors.

  • Document and track vendor performance.

  • Assist the vendor services team in vendor utilization of the Vendor Site Tracker portal.

  • Communicate timelines for vendor-provided deliverables.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience in a coordination and/or scheduling role (training, project, administrative, vendor-facing)

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Strong practical knowledge in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams)

  • Strong communication skills

  • Vendor conflict resolution skills

  • Experience with Sitetracker is a plus

  • Knowledge of Outside Plant (OSP) Telecommunications is a plus

  • Position can be remote, but candidates must be able to support working East Coast hours from 7AM-4PM

The expected base salary for this position is $30.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
