Within Compass Group, Waveguide is part of the Eurest family that provides dining services to local, regional and national companies across the United States. Services include operating employee dining centers, on-site catering, executive dining rooms, and other managed services.

The AV Systems Coordinator is responsible for building "Guideline" documentation and specifications that will be consumed by a multitude of audience types, ranging from contractors and architects to technology and AV professionals. CAD drawing will be utilized to create enterprise level system drawings, and room build data. 3D renderings will be used to create custom equipment specifications for OEMs and vendors; and support for BIM/ReVit integration into architectural plans. This person will also need to have the drive to lead cross-coordination within several stakeholder groups to gain alignment on all AV room changes. They will need to build Bill of Material documentation and publish external release notes and updates.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing Design Guideline submissions as part of the Compass audio visual program schedule

  • Providing testing and research services as a key member of programming team

  • Working closely with the Compass Service Desk and AV Operations teams to ensure optimal availability of conference rooms and AV solutions from a global enterprise wide perspective

  • Developing training plans for control systems and hardware recommendations

  • Maintaining testing and training documentation for each release cycle

  • Assisting with systems in conference rooms, multi-purpose rooms and remote device management systems, not limited to but including: PC and AV control systems, telephony and video teleconferencing solutions

  • Updating system software per planned maintenance schedule

  • Providing training sessions to various support entities across multiple organizations in the Microsoft enterprise

  • Testing and implementing emerging technologies (hardware & Software) for pilot projects in Conference moms, meeting spaces and Cafe environments

  • Presenting product reviews and technology evaluations to key Stakeholders a Researching industry trends and providing

Job Summary

Qualifications:

  • Experience with AV & IT systems and corporate installations

  • Autodesk Certificate for CAD including RevlT. (or equivalent job experience)

  • Experience with 3D modeling software (e . g. SOLIDWORKS , SketchUp)

  • Experience working independently as well as within team environments

  • Proficiency with industry-leading software applications a Strong customer service skills

  • Strong written and verbal skills in the English language

  • Ability to shift priorities, demands and timelines with analytical and problem - solving capabilities

  • Ability to react to break-fix situations promptly and efficiently

  • Ability to troubleshoot and test AV system functionality and quality of workmanship

  • Ability to comprehend a wide-variety of communication styles and diverse disciplines
