Electrical EngineeringEmployee Type: Full Time Req’d Experience: 10 yrs tech., 2 yrs super.Industry: Industrial, Manufacturing Req’d Travel: <20%Description:Electrical Engineering Manager for a manufacturing company specializing in vacuum and controlled atmosphere melting furnaces serving the specialty metals industry.The Electrical Engineering Manager will work with the Electrical Project Engineers within the Electrical Engineering Group to design power generation and control systems for industrial melting furnaces. Primary Responsibilities:•Coordinate department activities, establish priorities, assign staff to projects for the design of control systems, PLC software code, production and utilization of electric power, and power supply and transmission parts for industrial melting furnace systems.•Responsible for electrical designs compliant with regulatory requirements including, but not limited to OSHA, NFPA, and NEC.•Responsible for the management, growth and professional development of the electrical engineering team.•Travel to customer sites as needed•Other duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:•B.S. in Electrical Engineering •10 years of Industrial experience, 2 years supervisory.•Technical, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.•Ability to work as part of a team.•Ability to travel both domestically and internationally.Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):•Programming and control system design utilizing Rockwell AB and Siemens PLC platformsCondition of Employment:Successful candidate must submit to post offer, pre-employment physical examination and drug screen.Consarc Corporation is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
