Siemens Energy Project Management Support Specialist in Raleigh, North Carolina
A Snapshot of Your Day
The Project Management Support Specialist will provide support to GIS projects as part of the execution team. The successful candidate will work closely with PM, finance and procurement teams to ensure projects are executed in accordance with the business strategy.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Efficiently manage multiple duties within the project portfolio, supporting project management activities.
Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks related to project logistics solutions.
Establish and maintain a document management system, train others on its implementation and usage.
Ensure documentation standards are consistently maintained for all project deliverables.
Manage document control, update project schedules, create PORs, and support business area needs.
Participate in weekly management meetings, collaborate daily with local and global project teams, and travel up to 15% as needed.
What You Bring
3+ years of experience in document control, project support, and logistics.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and SAP.
Experience with production and engineering drawings, and transmittals.
Self-motivated, highly detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing environments.
Preferred experience in process improvement, quality management, global teams, and knowledge of GIS, BoP, and switchgear products.
