As an Engineering Operations New Product Introduction Delivery Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of new products to the market. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of introducing new products, from concept to commercialization. Your expertise in engineering operations and project management will contribute to the timely and efficient launch of innovative products that meet customer needs.

You will report directly to our Director of Engineering Operations and you'll work out of our Raleigh, North Carolina location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the success of our business by driving the execution of new product introduction processes, ensuring that our business unit projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, business leaders, corporate leaders on the needed processes required to achieve project timelines and ability to mitigate risks will be essential in achieving project objectives and meeting business expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and evolve the end-to-end process of new product introduction, from concept to commercialization required to achieve business unit needs.

  • Business unit subject matter expert on processes and tools required to achieve new product delivery.

  • Provide guidance, consulting, oversite and training for NPI team members.

  • Manage ongoing corporate changes required to bring alignment in processes for business unit.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives and process improvements.

  • Monitor business unit level overall project progress and identify potential risks or issues.

  • Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely decision-making.

MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.

  • 5+ years of experience in engineering operations or New Product Delivery project management.

  • Strong knowledge of New Product Introduction processes, applications and best practices

  • Prior working knowledge and expertise with Accolade application utilized in Honeywell new product introduction and delivery tracking.

  • Strong knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework or Z21 new product introduction processes and best practices.

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.

  • Experience creating and managing Confluence, JIRA and/or SharePoint sites.

WE VALUE

  • Master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration.

  • PMI Certification

  • Experience in the development and launch of complex technical products.

  • Knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory requirements.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Optimal if prior experience with Power BI.
