Job Description
Contractors will be working in teams of 1-3 to build various parts of industrial radiators. They will be utilizing hand and power tools to secure builds. These are large industrial radiators, some as big as a semi trailer. Contractors will be climbing on top of the radiators utilizing ladders or scissor lifts to get on top of them. Utilize overhead cranes to lift and move heavy objects. There are 7 different assembly areas that build either parts or full radiators. Once completed, they will be performing leak tests.
Responsibilities
Work in teams of 1-3 to build various parts of industrial radiators.
Utilize hand and power tools to secure builds.
Climb on top of radiators using ladders or scissor lifts.
Operate overhead cranes to lift and move heavy objects.
Work in 7 different assembly areas to build parts or full radiators.
Perform leak tests on completed radiators.
Essential Skills
1+ year of mechanical assembly experience
1+ year of power tool experience
Ability to read a tape measure
18 months of tenure from one company within the past 5 years
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with blueprints
Experience with overhead cranes
Mechanical assembly skills
Blueprint reading skills

Work Environment
The facility is clean and organized but not temperature controlled, so it can get hot during the summer. This position will report to the Assembly Supervisor.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $22.50/hr.
