Summary:

The Sr. Director of Strategy Planning, Execution & Operational Governance, will serve a crucial leadership role in ensuring the successful planning, implementation, and execution of strategic initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities will include establishing and maintaining the operational governance standards including volume forecast, outlooks, and gap closure planning through high collaboration with cross-functional organizations across Vivint and NRG. They will also lead ideation, planning, and effective execution of strategic plans including but not limited to; revenue synergies, New market penetration, and overall GTM planning. This role will also oversee the Project & program management office for Marketing.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Developing, maintaining, and executing operational governance frameworks to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

  • Leading the management and implementation of strategies to drive business growth including high-profile initiatives such as cross-sell opportunities, Under penetrated markets, Revenue synergies and overall GTM, and ideation for new growth and expansion plans for business consideration.

  • Providing leadership and guidance to project managers and teams to ensure successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.

  • Collaborating with various stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and ensuring that projects align with the organization's strategic priorities.

  • Establishing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of strategy execution efforts.

  • Oversees and collaborates with leadership in establishing its strategic direction and objectives and creates long-term strategic and business development plans. Leads and develops recommendations and approaches for strategic and operational improvements. Manages and reviews industry and market trends; analyzes and applies this information in the development of strategies for market segments. Measures metrics to gauge the success of new strategies.

  • Leads people who perform project management duties involving cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of internal products or administrative systems. Oversees plans and directs schedules as well as project budgets. Monitors programs/projects from initiation through delivery and interfacing with internal customers or department personnel. Organizes project activities and interdepartmental meetings; ensures communication facilitates completion of the program/project on schedule and within budget constraints. May assign and monitor the work of technical personnel providing support and interpretation of instructions/objectives. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Direct people-management responsibility is typically required.   • Support in developing governance design and assessing the Implementation

  • Utilizes data to identify and solve key strategic problems and provide insights to support decision-making

  • Work closely with other entities and departments to find solutions to strategic problems and ensure alignment with strategic direction and priorities

  • Research, benchmarking, and analysis for strategic issues and questions

  • Analyze and draw insights from trends and patterns

  • Manage and track planning processes and ensure they are timely, focused, and value-adding

Required Skills:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skill

  • Ability to analyze complex data and information and turn them into insights

  • Able to work with cross-functional teams and have the maturity to interact directly with senior executives across departments

  • High level of ownership

  • Proactive and self-motivated

  • Proven strategic planning, project management, and organizational reporting skills; and the ability to coordinate the work of teams and individuals ensuring the quality and timeliness of output

  • Excellent influencing, relationship management, and interpersonal skills are required as the role involves interaction with senior internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to develop relationships and build rapport with a wide range of contacts and be able to work constructively with others

Required Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Science, Economics, Statistics, or any related field

  • 7+ years’ experience in management consulting/ or strategy department

  • Excellent analytical skills with the intellectual ability to assess complex legal, policy and

  • procedural documents and issues, and make recommendations for action

  • Experience with strategy formulation and execution is a must.

    This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
