What is the compensation package?
Pay Rate: (G20) $18.54 - $25.56 per hour (depending on qualifications)

Enter and retrieve data from specialized software programs for the building division.
Maintain files and records, including organizing and establishing appropriate filing processes.
Receive and route calls.
Greet customers and answer questions about services.
Type reports, forms, and other documents.
Make copies and operate general office equipment and machines.
Provide information from reports and records, including confidential information.
Design and edit forms and correspondence for final review.
Maintain calendars and staff schedules.
Take notes at meetings as needed.
Perform specialized tasks specific to the building division.
May assist with bookkeeping responsibilities, including handling cash.
May assist with payroll and time tracking responsibilities.
Perform other related duties as required.
What are the minimum requirements?
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
Two (2) years of clerical experience.
OR an equivalent combination of job-related education and experience [substituting each 1 year of post-secondary education/training for 6 months of experience.
Specific experience using specialized computers or software packages may be required.
A valid, lawful Driver license may be required.
The incumbent must be available for occasional evening work.
What is the selection process?
Applications will be reviewed in the order they are submitted, with the first screening being held on March 13, 2025. Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications listed above to be eligible for consideration.
If selected for hire, candidate will be required to successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check. Non-disclosure may result in dismissal. Applicants with unsatisfactory drug screen results will be ineligible for appointment or application to any Provo City position for a minimum period of six (6) months.
