Responsibilities:

  • Plan, initiate, and manage software development projects from conception through implementation in the life science domain.

  • Define project scope, objectives, and requirements in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance with industry standards.

  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, tasks, dependencies, and resource allocation.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and task assignment to achieve project objectives within the defined timeline and budget.

  • Manage and mitigate project risks, issues, and changes by implementing appropriate risk management strategies and proactive problem-solving approaches.

  • Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and generate regular status reports for stakeholders, presenting project updates and ensuring transparency and accountability.

  • Facilitate requirements gathering and analysis, system design, development, testing, and deployment phases of the project, ensuring adherence to project objectives and compliance requirements.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure project success and alignment with industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the life science domain, managing software development projects.

  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.

  • Familiarity with life science industry standards and compliance requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO, GMP) is highly desired.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Proficient in JIRA project management and proficient in using project management methodologies and tools.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
