Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Tech in the Princeton, New Jersey area. This role primarily involves ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of equipment, machinery, and facilities. The Maintenance Tech will conduct routine checks, troubleshoot problems, and perform necessary repairs to mitigate disruption and prolong the lifespan of various assets.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure the efficient operation of equipment and machinery
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to machinery and equipment
• Perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime
• Extend the lifespan of various assets through effective maintenance
• Use maintenance software for efficient management and tracking of tasks
• Ensure the safety and efficiency of buildings and facilities.
Requirements
Proficiency in maintenance software and ability to interpret technical documents (blueprints, diagrams, etc.).
Experience in routine and preventive maintenance, with knowledge of hand/power tools and basic systems (electrical, hydraulic, mechanical).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues.
Experience in scheduling maintenance, managing parts inventory, and adhering to safety protocols.
