Hours/Schedule : M-F 8:30am-4:30pm
Type: Contract (1 year)
Overview
A leading CPG company is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. If you have a background in science and hands-on laboratory experience, apply for this opportunity!
Responsibilities
Prepare household and pet care formulations (both powder and liquid types) in the laboratory
Measure pH, specific gravity, viscosity, and other physicals as appropriate
Perform and manage stability tests, prep, pulls and subsequent testing. Perform fragrance or malodor evaluations by test panels
Document lab work and maintain good housekeeping
Perform internal standard test methods for claim support purposes, help manage claim support documentation and draft test reports as necessary
Help manage product releases
Requirements
B.S. in Chemistry, Biology, or related science
Hands-on laboratory experience preferred (pH, viscosity, titrations, etc.)
Experience with wet chemistry preferred
Must be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high priority environment
Good organizational and documentation skills, strong computer skills a plus
