Job Title: Prep Cook for Private Club
Location: Big Bay, Michigan
Pay: $15.50 per Hour
What’s the Job?
Assist in preparing buffet-style meals for 15-300 guests, including soups, entrees, vegetables, and starches. Collaborate effectively with team members.
Prep specialty items like scratch hollandaise sauce.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Portion and prepare food according to specifications.
Assist with various kitchen tasks as assigned.
What’s Needed?
-Seasonal job, ASAP through summer months. 40 hours a week, 8 hours a day, shift times vary. Half hour lunch break for straight shift, if it’s a split they get 15 minutes. 2 days off a week, we try to have those days together unless requested otherwise.
Room and board are available for $10/week. The housing is dorm-style so there would be a roommate and a shared bathroom. Not required to live on site but with the lengthy commute and high gas prices we do recommend it!
Previous experience in food service preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Knowledge of food safety regulations.
